LaRue uses live doves in many of his performances. These lovely birds are family pets, so they are treated with great love and respect. The doves are never in any danger during the show, even though it may appear otherwise! Each bird has its own personality and preferences, so we work with them to determine which magical effects each is best suited to perform. We never use coercive training methods, as they are unnecessary and cruel. Ultoog and Kita, our featured performers, have entertained in hundreds of shows. Children and adults are welcome to come 'talk to the animals' following any performance!
